Our charity is run solely by volunteers and is succcessful because of the time, compassion and support of many young people who recognize the value of helping children in need. All of the people recognized have made meaningful contributions over the years in many different ways. Some have baked cookies in the winter and sold them in the snow to raise money, some have participated in walkathons and donated money from Bar Mitzvah projects, and others have entertained patients at the annual holiday party at Brookdale Hospital. The list goes on. We admire, respect and specially thank our young friends for all the efforts they have done to touch the lives of the patients we serve. (To the extent we inadvertently forgot to thank some people, we apologize in advance for any gaffes).
